DESCRIPTION:Location: Walter Phillips Gallery\n\nPlease join us for a tour led by Walter Phillips Gallery staff of the exhibition\, Diane Borsato: A Clean Place to Swim.\n\nIn A Clean Place to Swim\, Diane Borsato presents new and past works that explore the liberating\, intimate\, and communal possibilities of being in the water. Acts of teaching and learning\, encounters across backgrounds\, as well as our shared right to clean\, wild environments to swim in will be brought together under a title drawn from a phrase by Alexander Wilson from The Culture of Nature.\n\nEnjoy this exhibition tour during the Open Studios event for Banff Artist in Residence– Summer 2026 program.\n\nWalter Phillips Gallery gratefully acknowledges the ongoing support of the Canada Council for the Arts\, and the Province of Alberta through Alberta Foundation for the Arts.\n\nBanff Centre for Arts and Creativity is excited to bring together world-renowned musicians\, artists\, and writers\, as well as passionate audiences for the 2026 Banff Centre Summer Arts Festival. Running throughout May to September\, the 2026 festival invites audiences to experience a season of artistic discovery of over 100 free and ticketed events.
