DESCRIPTION:August 12-19\n\nHi Everyone\, \n\nCalgary Skate Week is back.\n\nDETAILS:\n- Free camping!\n- No competitive aspect to this event\, just skating\n- Do what works for you\, you don't have to stay the whole week but you’re guaranteed to catch some skating with whatever works for your schedule. Wednesday to Wednesday\; one whole week of skating\n- Different skate every day\n\n\nAs with last year\, this week has three main goals:\n\n#1 To support the ladies crew and make this the biggest female focused gathering of skaters since the Maryhill she-ride! We are going to remind the rest of the international skate community that skateboarding has the fastest growing female demographic out of any sport right now. Calgary has an awesome group of girls that are shredding so let’s bring the rest of the world to show them what they are a part of.\n\n#2 To serve as a reminder of what's truly great about downhill skateboarding and to create a week in 2025 that stands out amongst all the big races and freerides as a time to only focus on the art of skating. There will be no competition or any form of competitive aspect to this event whatsoever.\n\n#3 Calgary has the most extensive urban pathway and bikeway network in North America and it’s time for the world to see it’s value in the world of downhill skating. This week will have a huge impact on everyone’s skating.
