DESCRIPTION:Location: Kinnear Centre 3rd Floor Dance Studio #303\n\nCome learn the basics of Indigenous pow-wow dance with artists Olivia Tailfeathers\, Julien Tailfeathers\, and Stephanie Braverock—all familiar faces at Banff Centre.\n\nThis fun\, celebratory community program digs into key dance techniques\, with dance instruction centred around Indigenous ways of knowing and being. This workshop is open to all backgrounds and experience levels\, and is free with pre-registration.\n\nBanff Centre for Arts and Creativity is excited to bring together world-renowned musicians\, artists\, and writers\, as well as passionate audiences for the 2026 Banff Centre Summer Arts Festival. Running throughout May to September\, the 2026 festival invites audiences to experience a season of artistic discovery of over 100 free and ticketed events.
