Each album has built stylistically into the next\, but remains rooted in hard-hitting\, piano-driven funk. Roman specializes in poignant\, but funny lyrics on topics from love to money to the music business\, paired with devastating grooves and soaring stacks of vocal harmonies. His high-energy\, unapologetically expressive music has earned him a die-hard cult following in his hometown of Winnipeg and across Canada. The live show is eye-catching and exciting - he fronts an often large outfit from behind a drum set at the front of the stage.
