SUMMARY:Iranian students in Calgary fundraising
DESCRIPTION:I am raising funds to support Iranian students in Calgary who are facing urgent financial hardship.\n\nAs someone who came to Canada and completed my PhD without financial support from my family in Iran due to sanctions and economic barriers\, I deeply understand how overwhelming it can be to pursue higher education while carrying financial stress and uncertainty far from home.\n\nToday\, many Iranian students are facing even greater challenges because of the ongoing war and instability in Iran. Families are struggling to send financial support\, and many students are unable to cover basic needs like tuition\, rent\, and living expenses.\n\nI am proud to be working alongside Dr. Lida Shadabi as a committee member of the Emergency Bursary for Iranian Students at Mount Royal University\, supporting students during times of crisis and financial hardship.\n\nThis fundraiser will help provide urgent financial relief so students can remain in school and continue pursuing their education and future goals.\n\nEvery contribution\, no matter the size\, can make a meaningful difference.\n\nI will also be hosting a fundraiser gathering on May 29th from 6-8PM in Tuscany\, Calgary.
